If you drive on U.S. 6/Hickman Road between the I-35/I-80 ramps, you need to be aware of an overnight road closure that may slow down your trip, according to the Iowa Department of Transportation’s Grimes Construction office.
Crews need to close Hickman Road between the north- and southbound I-35/I-80 ramps from 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 14, until 12 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 15, weather permitting. The closure is necessary for the crews to move cranes. The I-35/I-80 on-ramps at U.S. 6/Hickman Road will remain open.
