    Share a story with Miss Jacque! This interactive storytime will give us a chance to see our friends, talk together, and read a few stories.   Recommended for ages 2-6, siblings welcome!This program will be presented via Zoom. Be sure to include an email address when you register. We will email participants a link before the event. Please only register once per household.

Join us to learn how to find accounts that remove the risk of overdraft, low balance charges and other high fees so that you can manage your money to spend on what you choose.This event is presented by the Economic Awareness Council as part of Money Smart Week.  About Money Smart WeekThe Urbandale Public Library is pleased to promote Money Smart Week to our community members.  Money Smart Week is a national public education program coordinated by the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago & delivered by a network of supporters.  Virtual Money Smart Week 2021 will be held Saturday, April 10 – Saturday, April 17 . This week-long free virtual campaign aims to help people better manage their personal finances with a focus on those hardest hit by the COVID-19 pandemic.

    New in 2021!  Neighborhood Finance Corporation (NFC), a local nonprofit organization that provides unique home loans to facilitate neighborhood revitalization, is now providing lending in specific areas of Urbandale.  View map. Join us for a 90-minute virtual "House Party" to learn more about NFC's home purchase program, front porch home improvement loans, and more!   This program will be presented online via Zoom.  A participation link will be sent to registered attendees before the program.
