The RAD system is a comprehensive, women-only course that begins with awareness, prevention, risk reduction and risk avoidance, while progressing on to the basics of hands on defense training. RAD is not a martial arts program.
Course Details
The 4-week course is taught by nationally certified RAD instructors from the Urbandale Police Department and the surrounding area. Participants are provided with a workbook / reference manual that outlines the entire Physical Defense Program. The manual is also the key to a lifetime return and practice policy for RAD graduates.
