Parks Listing

Those of us lucky enough to live near parks, open spaces, and green ways know the joys they bring: the calming views of trees and green lawns, the fresh air, and the laughter of children playing. Benefits of parks include:

  • Parks, green ways and trails enable and encourage people to exercise.
  • Exposure to nature improves psychological and social health.
  • Play is critical for child development.
  • Parks help build healthy, stable communities.
