Douglas Urbanization East

Project Description:

This project will urbanize Douglas Avenue from 86th Street to 75th Street by installing curb and gutter, storm sewer, and replacing left turn lanes. This project also includes pavement preservation, with patching and a mill and overlay as needed.  A 5' sidewalk will be installed on the north side of the road, and a 5' sidewalk and 10' separate bike lane on the South side of the road, in keeping with the Complete Streets Masterplan.

This is a 2024 project and will be let in early spring.  Please check back on this page for future updates.. 

The City will mail a letter to residents and businesses in the Corridor in Spring of 2024 when the Contract has been awarded and an approximate schedule has been determined.
