Attached to the new Buccaneers Arena and Training Facility will be a new multi-story hotel. This hotel will be on the north side of the Merle Campus, where the current Kohl's building is located, and be complete with 125 rooms. This will allow visitors to the area easy access to entertainment throughout the Merle Hay Plaza, and be within a few minutes of Urbandale shops, restaurants, and bars throughout the Urban Loop.
The hotel is set to be finished by the end of 2023, and will cost $20 million to complete.
